How to install LUTs in Wondershare Filmora

Quick answer

In Wondershare Filmora, select a clip, open the Color tab, turn on LUT under Basic, then open the LUT menu and choose Import LUT to load a .cube file. Set the strength with the Strength slider.

Wondershare Filmora 12 and later on Mac and Windows.
Which files
Cinematic bundle: the .cube files in each look's Luts Cube folder, for example DRONE BUNDLE/OCEAN/Luts Cube. GoPro pack: the .cube files in LUTs by drone-luts.com (CUBE).

Import and apply a LUT

  1. Unzip the download first. Double-click the .zip on a Mac; on Windows right-click it and choose Extract All. Apps cannot read LUTs from inside a zip.

  2. Select a clip on the timeline and open the Color tab in the properties panel.

  3. Under Basic, switch on LUT.

  4. Open the LUT preset menu and choose Import LUT (or Add), then pick a .cube file. It joins the preset list for later.

  5. Pull the Strength slider back from 100 to taste.

Use one look on several clips

  1. Right-click the graded clip and choose Copy Effects.

  2. Select the other clips, right-click and choose Paste Effects.

Troubleshooting

I cannot find the LUT option.

Update Filmora; older versions keep LUTs under Effects → Filters → LUT or in the Color Match / Color Correction window instead of the Color tab.
